Dichroic glass literally means "two colours", as the glass reacts differently to light and angle, making the colours shift as you move. This makes it very difficult to photograph, the true beauty of dichroic has to be seen to fully appreciate its depth, iridiscence and sparkle. Dichroic glass was actually invented by NASA for use in the space industry, until a genius somewhere discovered that it could also be used to create beautiful jewellery!
I handmake all my items in my studio in Hampshire. Each piece is unique and would make a stunning and individual gift. I can also work with you to create a piece to your specifications if you are looking for something extra special. Please feel free to contact me with any special requests, I'd love to hear from you. Alternatively, if you would like a slight variation on an item already in my collection, for example, a different size or colour, please use the "Contact" page to let me know your requirements and I will be in touch to discuss your own personal commission. Please note I reserve the right to reproduce any item that I make.
As each piece of dichroic glass is unique, the item you receive may vary slightly from those shown, but it will be as near as possible.
